AI company recommendations: An intelligent targeting assistant
The AI company recommendations feature, part of Intapp Assist for DealCloud, is designed to help professionals streamline their target identification processes. This feature surfaces high-potential companies tailored to your firm’s specific criteria and investment goals. Whether you’re focused on deal sourcing, fundraising, or generating buyer lists, this tool integrates data from your firm’s proprietary sources, Intapp Data, and third-party intelligence providers such as Pitchbook and Preqin to source high-quality targets.
Identifying quality investment targets can be a time-consuming and complex process, often hampered by disparate research methods and data sources. These inefficiencies can result in overlooked targets that otherwise align with a firm’s investment criteria.
However, DealCloud’s company recommendations feature solves this problem by automatically generating a list of recommended companies based on your firm’s established criteria. This feature simplifies and accelerates the target identification process, allowing professionals to focus on high-value opportunities instead of manually sifting through data.
To leverage this feature, users will need to enable Intapp Assist for DealCloud.
AI smart tags: Automate and enhance data tagging
Smart tags, another component of Intapp Assist for DealCloud, harnesses AI to analyze emails and notes, automatically suggesting relevant tags for companies and contacts within DealCloud.
Manually extracting and tagging company and contact information from emails and other text sources is both time-consuming and error-prone. Relevant contacts are often missed, leading to data gaps and incomplete reporting. Smart tags automates this process, reducing the likelihood of missed or incorrect tags and streamlining data entry. Whether you’re entering data through DealCloud or Outlook, this feature ensures that all relevant information is correctly categorized, facilitating more comprehensive insights and analysis.
This feature is available to users who have enabled Intapp Assist for DealCloud.
S&P Global dataset expansion within DataCortex: A new dimension of data
The August release also includes a significant expansion of Intapp’s S&P Global Market Intelligence dataset available via DataCortex. This enhancement adds approximately 30 million European-based companies and around 13 million global companies, nearly quadrupling the size of our S&P company data.
Manual data entry and validation can be labor-intensive and prone to errors, but this expanded S&P Global dataset reduces the need for manual data management. The expanded dataset also allows users to access a broader range of company information, including detailed family tree attributes. This depth of information supports more informed decision-making.
To benefit from this dataset expansion, DealCloud users must have S&P Global enabled as a third-party data partner within DataCortex.
